Wizkid Biography
Wizkid was enrolled in the Ijebu Ode Grammar School in Ogun State after he was born in Surulere, Lagos, in 1990. He continued at Lagos State University after graduating, but left in 2009 before graduating. Later, he enrolled in Lead City University in Ibadan, but left after just two semesters of school. At an early age, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun started singing in the church. Wizkid didn't begin his music career until 2001, when he was 11 years old. He joined together with a few of his church buddies to establish a group called Glorious Five, going under the stage name Lil Prinz, and they issued their debut album that same year.
He came, he saw, he conquered . The young man was without a doubt destined to be a singer. He is solely responsible for changing how people in other countries view African music. For other African performers, Wizkid was able to break through barriers in regions like Asia where many had previously shied away.
